The Bridge's name was conferred by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. ÍÓàÀÍ˹ͧ¡Ø§ÈÃÕ
The construction started in 2006. It crossed over Lam Pao Dam with two traffic lanes and
2,040 meters length. It is the longest bridge in Thailand. From Koh Maharaj, Tambon Nong Bua,
Amphoe Nong Kung Si, cross this bridge to Non Wiset cape, Tambon Nonburi, Amphoe
Sahatsakhan ahead to Sirinthorn Museum, the most complete dinosaur fossils excavation site in
Southeast Asia. This bridge reduces the distance between Amphoe Nong Kung Si and
Amphoe Sahatsakhan 80 km. It also shorten the route from Nong Khai province to
Mukdahan province about 160 Kilometers. This saves the cost of transport, increases the competitive
benchmarking and GDP and in term of economic, society and tourism.
