it is located at the intersection which is near the old provincial hall as a
symbol of the unique local instrument originated of Kalasin. Pong Lang was
created by Mr. Plueang Chairatsami, a national artist. It was adapted from
the ancient bamboo bel, containing 13 sticks of Mahat wood arranged
as a percussion instrument.
