Lam Pao Dam was built to block the
ÍÓàÀÍÂÒ§µÅÒ´
water from The Pao River and Yang Creek
at Ban Nong Song Hong. Tambon Lam Pao,
Amphoe Mueang. The dam is 33 meters
hight and was completed in 1968,
The blocking caused the twin reservoirs
in the north of the dam, There is digging
to join the two reservoirs together. So it
can hold 1, 430 million cubic meters of
water. It can prevent the flood, and serves
as a breeding area for fish, in addition
there is Hat Dok Gate, a public park where
many people are relaxing here. It borders
are Tambon Lam Pao, Amphoe Mueang,
Tambon Nong Bua, Amphoe Nong Kung Si;
and Tambon Woe, Amphoe Yang Talat.
