Phra That Ya Khu Worship Festival

It is annually held to worship the sacred Pagoda. Phra That Ya Khu,
on Visakha Puja Day at the area of Phra That Ya Khu at Ban Sema, Tambon Nong Paen,
Amphoe Kamalasai, Kalasin province, where people come to pay respects and
pray for good things in their lives.

Thewo Rohana Food Offering

จัดขึ้นในวันแรม 1 ค่ำ เดือน 11 คือหลังวันออกพรรษา 1 วัน
ที่บริเวณศาลเจาพอหลักเมือง ลานธรรมเชิงเขาภูสิงห เพื่อสืบสาน
ประเพณีอันดีงามของทองถิ่นใหคงอยูสืบไป และเพื่อการสงเสริม
การทองเที่ยวของอำเภอสหัสขันธและจังหวัดกาฬสินธุ
A merit making festival of Buddhists by putting the
offering in monks' arms bowls, is held on the 1st day
of the 11th waning moon, a day after the last of Buddhist
lent. Kalasin annually organizes this event at the city pillar
shrine, a Dharma yard near the foot of Phu Singha Mountain
to inherit the custom and promote the tourism.
